Credit life insurance and credit disability insurance can help protect the borrower’s family and the lender against financial loss in the event of a death or disability.

Credit life insurance pays the balance of your auto loan, either the remaining balance or the policy maximum, whichever is less.
Credit disability insurance makes the loan payments (up to the policy maximum) while you, the policy holder are disabled by a covered illness or accident which persists beyond the policy waiting period.
