Stephen Bentley is chief executive officer (CEO), chairman of the board and founder of Aimbridge® Lending Solutions where he is focused on defining and execution of the consolidated group’s strategy and objectives.  He also oversees executive development and recruitment and manages new business evaluation and creation for the company. 

Prior to founding Aimbridge, Bentley spent four years with Colorado-based Centennial Management and Leasing as vice president of finance and president of the company.  He served as U.S. and foreign tax manager for the Anschutz Corporation for three years and was an audit and tax accountant with KPMG and Coopers and Lybrand for six years before joining the Anschutz Corporation.  Bentley also operated one of the largest tax practices in Colorado, focused on oil and gas and real estate industries.

Bentley led the growth of Aimbridge Automotive Group, a division of Aimbridge, to become one of the top 350 automobile dealerships in the U.S.  Aimbridge Indirect Lending, another division of the company, has grown to be the second largest credit union focused indirect lending company in the United States under his direction.  Bentley was a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award for three consecutive years and selected by the Kaufman Foundation as one of the Top 100 Entrepreneurs in the U.S.

Bentley was founder and chairman of the Colorado Automotive Free Trade Association (CAFTA).  The members of CAFTA legislate change in Colorado to allow brokering of new vehicles in the state.  Bentley is also a member of the Chambers of Commerce in Denver and Charleston, S.C.

Bentley received his Bachelor of Science degree at Pennsylvania State University.
